The PGi Business Development Manager develops, coaches, and drives a high performing sales team towards achieving team goals.  Generate and develop business relationships with prospective clients representing the PGi Solution Payroll, HR, Scheduling, Time & Attendance and Employee Portal.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for achieving and exceeding annual quotas by executing sales strategies.
  • Work with and within a dynamic Department budget to manage the growth of sales team.
  • Identify and create sources of new prospects and leads in addition to lead lists provided.
  • Assist Sales Team with lead qualification process and campaign and closing strategies.
  • Understand competitive products and market trends.
  • Contribute and be involved in the Company Marketing Plan to drive sales.
  • Liaise with implementation team, report the sales team’s feedback from the field: new product, services and features.
  • Build and maintain a knowledge base of PGi’s current product and services.
  • Attend trade shows, conventions and networking functions as a representative of PGi.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a Sales Management role
  • Experience selling HR and Payroll solutions and/or services a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, plus experience delivering presentations to target audiences.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrating resourcefulness and always maintaining professionalism.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting revenue goals
  • Highly motivated and a results oriented individual with exceptional organizational skills
  • Must have a valid passport and reliable transportation
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Work well with others, contribute to the team environment

The PGi Sales Executive generates and develops business relationships with prospective  clients representing the PGi Solution Payroll, HR, Scheduling, Time & Attendance and Employee Portal.  This is a working position, so roll up your sleeves!

Responsibilities:

  • Find and qualify prospects by assessing their needs and challenges and providing customized solutions to help them achieve their business goals
  • Provide a knowledgeable and engaging presentation of the PGi Solution and Services to clients and prospects.
  • Attend trade shows and conventions as a representative of PGi.
  • Achieve and exceed annual quotas through accurate sales forecasting and executing sales strategies by prospecting new business and developing client relationships.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals to prospects, capitalizing on all opportunities to close sales.
  • Manage client relationships by keeping in regular contact. Follow daily news for new developments in their industry and business
  • Identify and create sources of new prospects and leads in addition to lead lists provided
  • Contribute and be involved in the Company Marketing Plan
  • Relevant participation in social media.
  • Liaise with implementation team, manage client expectations, and maintain ongoing client contact to ensure satisfaction.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in an outside sales role with experience in consultative sales
  • Experience selling HR and Payroll applications and/or services a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, plus experience delivering presentations to target audiences.
  • Well-organized with the ability to work independently, demonstrating resourcefulness and always maintaining professionalism.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting revenue goals
  • Experienced in long sales-cycles and growth of existing customers
  • Self-motivated, confident, results driven, ability to close
  • Must have a valid passport and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

  • Respond to client inquiries, via email, web portal or phone, including clarifying issues and applying payroll expertise and analytical ability to see them through a resolution.
  • Provide consistent quality of customer service and support on PGi’s products and services with the ability to think outside the box.
  • Develop strong working relationships with client base, instilling a level of trust and confidence in our clients and their perception of our service team.
  • Prioritise workload while maintaining an effective balance between client inquiries, projects and client follow-up.
  • Improve the knowledge base and training materials to help users.
  • Accurately perform all changes or additions to Company set up with complete follow up to clients, including clear and concise instructions.
  • Learn, understand, maintain and contribute to internal support processes. Proactively seek ways to provide a better service experience for clients, recommending enhancements to products and support processes.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 1+ years of payroll experience
  • Payroll Designation (PCP/CPM) a plus
  • Proficiency in computer applications including: MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Determination to learn and develop continually as the business grows
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, must be able to multifunction, handling high-priority issued, and communicating internally in a timely manner
  • Self-starter, ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Takes initiative, is a decisive decision-maker and show confidence in decisions made
  • Superior communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills in the English language
  • Fluent written and verbal skills in the French language is a plus
